This is an as found in collection merchant token commissioned by D. Dejardins for his tailor business established in 1885 in Montreal. There were 200 struck to order in Germany in 1887, all with a ring/loop attached (see last photo of a different example). Dejardins removed the loop on many. This example shows no evidence of a prior loop or its removal though online sources suggest all were originally looped.
Catalogue numbers are Breton 575, Leroux 984 and TC 223774.
This example appears uncirculated with significant mint red luster in devices.
An example which appears "less uncirculated" than this example sold at the Toronto Coin Expo September 28, 2017 by Geoffrey Bell Lot 28 for 180 CD plus 36 CD buyers premium on estimate of 140-180.

Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
